The 500 Club commenced on 1st Sept 2005.

The purpose of The 500 Club is to raise funds for The Orkney Island Games Association in all its areas of operation.

Initially there will be no more than 500 Members of The 500 Club but this number may be reviewed by The 500 Club administrators from time to time.

The subscription amount will be £13.00 payable quarterly by Bank Standing Order on the 25th day of February, May, August and November.

Anyone whose subscriptions are received within fifteen calendar days of the due date will be eligible to participate in the draw. The draw will take place on the 15th of the month after the subscription is due.

When the total number of members of The 500 Club is up to 140, no less than 50% of the subscriptions will constitute the "Prize Fund". This will be divided proportionally as 60% first prize and 40% second and third prizes, the precise amounts to be fixed by the Administrators.

When the total number of members exceeds 140, prizes will be fixed in amounts of:
1st prize £650 (one);
2nd prizes £100 each (two);
3rd prizes £20 each (three)

Prizes will be paid out be cheque to winners, to the last known address advised to The 500 Club.

The 500 Club, will be administered by office bearers of OIGA.

Subscriptions paid to The 500 Club will be held in an account with The Royal Bank of Scotland and transactions on the account will be signed by any two of the appointed office bearers of OIGA.

The rules of The 500 Club may be changed from time to time. Changes will be as agreed by OIGA in general meeting.
